Final roundup for Tigers CKA Teams
A slight delay to the end of season reporting, due to the arrival of another Tiger Baby - Congratulations to David (who normally does these posts!) on the birth of his son, Andris!
T3 ended the season with a nail biter of a 14-14 draw against Div 1 leaders City 2, finishing in 2nd place.
T4 made an epic comeback in their last game against Uni 1, pulling ahead from several goals down to win 13-11 and have finished in the playoff position. They will face Phoenix 2 to retain their place in Div 1 - good luck T4!
And last but not least, T5 have had another fantastic season, with an assured 11-8 win away to Lions 2, a very strong 14-1 victory against Vikings 3, and they gave Vikings 2 (Div 2 leaders) a good workout in their final game, losing 7-11. T5 have finished in 3rd place - an especially great achievement considering that half the squad is U14 and playing their first adult season, with several other novice players joining them.
We're looking forward to the end of season social. Still several more games for the juniors to come, and hoping to get some teams to the summer tournaments.
